Default Clutch, comet 500?

Many problems, first it's was a basket case, 95 Club Car ds, but it came with a Honda GX390, now todays problem I ended up with a Comet 500 drive clutch instead of the 780. I know it has a different diameter, will it work with the stock driven clutch? Will the performance be about the same? Thanks DHL

Default Re: Clutch, comet 500?

The specs I'm seeing on the Comet 500 say that it will handle 16hp from a 4 stroke engine. With a GX390 you'll be close to the limits of that clutch. Not saying that it won't work, just keep that in mind.
