Default Ezgo PDS only reverse goes in reverse.

Hey guys need help with this one. Just got caught in pretty hard rain driving on pavement, made it almost home. Cart stopped at stop sign would not go forward. It only goes in reverse in either forward or reverse. Turned off retried, have 1/2 speed reverse and reverse when putting PDS f/r in forward.
Home in garage, controller and wires dry. The solenoid clicks in either direction, not just peddle micro. Alltrax dcx 600, either direction forward or reverse, I get usual 4 green blinks and steady green. What do you think.

flip to TOW and Dry out the F/R switch on the dash, use a yard blower, or air to dry it out, if that don't do it remove plugs on controller and dry them

The wife's hair dryer helps to, but yeah after it dry's everything should be ok, put a fan on it and let it blow over night if you have one

Do these F/R switches fail this easily on PDS carts? this could be my issue...I had my cart do the same exact thing after batt cable re-wire and controller install.....BUT while I had it apart with body off I pulled batts and power washed frame and undercarriage.

I didn't aim for dash area, but I'm sure it got a little wet...after reassembly, my cart did exact same thing as OP's...now after exhaustive checking on all connections and wiring I did, I have isolated it to no voltage present at the F&R pins in harness...

Currently I have 38V at terminals and lugs and B+ pin at controller and buzzer works when jumped, but nothing home as far as go power...I also noticed that factory Batt Bar meter is dead now too...

Don't they anticipate golfers getting caught in the rain???

I have fans on it and will check in a couple of hours for sure. I normally am a fair weather rider, though often, 5000 miles in over a couple of years.

I'm a series dude, but when properly installed, the plastic "firewall" does a great job keeping water, dust, mud, etc. from the back side of the dash. I drive in crazy wet, muddy places and never had a problem with my 12 volt switches getting wet. Do you have a roof and/or windshield?

Not sure what really happened, I have windshield and the plastic firewall is in place with a carbon fiber dash over. I did have larger holes cut for easier access when putting in carbon dash. Either way it rained wicket hard, for 15 or so. Probably leaked down. Ribs idea of the blowers worked. Checked this morning forward and reverse work fine.

I keep my buggy in my garage. It's getting to the point that weather may have played a factor. If your temperature got below the dew point, any moisture in the air would condense on/in any and all parts.
