2005 GEM eS speed issue
Have a 2005 GEM es that was losing speed rather quickly. You could drive it for about 10 minutes then it would act as though the batteries were dead, even though it was only down one bar. Seeing that the batteries were the original ones I replaced them with the deka 8g31 gel batteries, same spec as the ones that were in there. After replacing the batteries the issue is still there. Full charge, runs fine for 10-15 minutes and loses speed almost to the point of stopping. If you let it sit for a while it will run fine again for about 15 minutes. Has anyone experienced anything similar to his? Know what a fix would be?

Re: 2005 GEM eS speed issue
Went through all the testing and found it was the accelerator assembly. Replaced it (took about 20 minutes) and it has been like new ever since
