Default 99 txt carb replacement

I find a plethora of carbs everywhere. I purchased one and no luck. I floods out the 295 robin engine. It seems the float and needle valve won't seal correctly. Help educate me on buying one that works.

All the aftermarket carbs are garbage. If you keep trying eventually you’ll get one that works okay. But it may take 2 or 20 before you get a good one. Luck of the draw.

Or get an oem one I think this should be the right one for a 295 https://shop.txtsv.com/carburetor-as...mm-venturi-9hp

Did you try to clean and rebuild the stock carb?

I figured. The one in it had a broken body. I'll get an OEM one.

Thanks.
