G22 speed sensor and magnet for adc motor
I need a new magnet and speed sensor for my g22 that has an adc not the Hitachi motor. The g22 adc motor speed sensor is not easy to find online but the one for club car Precedent is common. They look identical. Is it correct the adc motors in club car and yamaha use the same speed sensor and magnet so I can buy one for a precedent and it will fit my g22

Re: G22 speed sensor and magnet for adc motor
As long as you get the right magnet and sensor for the motor, you can rewire the plug. I think many of us have had to do this. It is super easy to make other plug styles adapt. Did you keep the plug from the old sensor?

Re: G22 speed sensor and magnet for adc motor
I still have the original sensor. The plug is triangle shaped like the club car plug. Are they wired differently? Also I know high speed magnets work on club cars, but in my internet searching I cant find any info on them working with yamaha g22. I cant imagine why not. if they use the same motor and speed sensor. Do you know if the club car high speed magnet will work in my g22
