1991 Par Car Carburetor
My cart was sluggish and then stopped actually firing. I suspected a fuel problem and removed the carburetor. It appears that the starter/generator actually had a bolt break and was resting on the throttle and potential broke that throttle shaft that goes in the top of the carburetor. From looking at all the parts sites for the Walbro WHL-10C, that shaft is discontinued. I can't find a cross-reference that would tell me what carb I can buy to replace the existing WHL-10C. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I doubt you"ll be able to find those parts or that carb. Don't fret it. "82 - '87 EZgo carbs (Mikuni BV19 or BV24) will bolt right on there and, at least in my opinion, are better carbs anyway. You cant knock offs on Amazon for $20. You'll just have switch the choke butterfly from one side to the other and reroute the choke cable. Both simple tasks.

The throttle should connect up as is. The choke lever will need to be flipped from one side to the other is all.
Remove the butterfly inside by of the two small screws. Remove the clip from the side of the choke level. Flip everything to the other side and reassemble. |
