Default Looking for the best motor to put in my Yamaha G22 cart with a Navitas Controller

Hello All!

I had to replace my controller in my Yamaha G22 cart a few years ago so now I have the Navitas 440 amp controller with the on the fly control. My motor has seemed to go out now and I'm trying to find the best replacement. After calling Navitas they said that only their new controllers (Bluetooth) will work with the D&D or Plum Quick motors. I'm trying to find the best replacement option that will work with my existing controller. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

Jeremy

Woah! Hard to keep up with all of the responses! :

So I ended up contacting Navitas. They charged a fee but I sent my controller in and they are sending the newer controller with Bluetooth. This one has a bunch of preset profiles for motors so that opened up my choices. I went with the Plum Street Riot motor so I'm hoping once I get both back installed (few week lead time on the motor) that I'll be happy with the setup. Just thought I would post an update in case someone was in a similar situation.

Good deal. Should work well. Any motor will most likely be way better than the stock motor. I have been using an Alltrax controller with my D&D motors - and they have a "field map" for the different motors. You can install the "field map" yourself and they will email you the one you need if you change motors. I assume that Navitas does the same.
