That'll work. I'd have to shorten the arm rests to make work for my deal, but good idea on yours.

The arm rests didn't need anything done for my application. They ride over the top of the tailgate. I'm glad they do as we use the rear seat unfolded quite a bit gathering firewood and such and need the rests for support.

Here is my solution for tailgate clearance in my F-250:
IMAG0963.jpg Here is a close up before the body was reinstalled: IMAG0960.jpg I just used a reese receiver, that way I can put my hitch in to move the boat trailer around. |
