Shocks With 6" Lift
I'm putting a 6" lift and a rear seat on a 2004 Precedent. I've searched and read what I could find here, but I haven't seen if there's an aftermarket shock that works better than the stock ones to improve ride. I'm not looking to make radical suspension changes. I just want to maximize what I have. Appreciate suggestions? Thank you.

Re: Shocks With 6" Lift
The shocks won't really improve your ride, it's the spring that is responsible for soft suspension. Suspension travel is what you need to have a better ride. Softer springs with stiff shocks provide the best ride, think Cadillac, that was their formula for years.
Unfortunately the stock suspensions on golf carts are lacking in the travel department. A long travel front suspension kit is the best thing you can install for a better ride. |
