here is a link to a manual for a generator that uses the 625cc engine that Vegas Carts is selling. Its mostly a users manual for the generator but it contains some helpful information on this mystery engine.

It has a Low oil sensor

It holds 1.4 liter oil which is 49.27305 oz

Hope to one day put this engine in my CC DS in place of the 460 I have in it now.

Its taken me hours to find any information on this engine. It was tough but I persisted :-)

Thanks for finding this, some good info in here!

On another note, it’s a cool 16 here in Southern Ohio today, we are staying at the cabins at our campground this weekend with 3 other families we camp with, anyhow I tried my ezgo txt and it fired right up, may have to bring it along this weekend, Happy New Years!

We still don't know if VC's set up still uses the low oil sensor or not. It may not be wired in.

While prepping for the upcoming install I asked about oil pressure light. I was told it is an oil shutdown system, not a warning light system. I assumed it would be operable but can't be certain.

Mine is wired in and they pretty much confirmed that’s what the wiring harness on the 625 is.
Now to level my motor, I believe I am going to raise the rear of the motor mounting plate by using flat washers, I feel better that way rather than stacking washers under the motor it self. Any feedback is appreciated

If your mounting plate is like mine, thick billet aluminum, I would use the spacers under the plate and mount the engine solidly to a flat, firm surface. Much better for that aluminum casting to keep its bottom firmly planted.

My thoughts exactly, I could see a motor mount snapping under stress which would result in a grown man crying...lol
