Default Is this a good deal for one of those chrysler carts?

I was browsing craigslist and came upon this car. The price seems reasonable and could probably get them down to at least $3200, and its pretty close to where i live. Just post your opinions.

Based on all the 72v Chrysler GEM and Ford Think vehicles around where I live the prices for 2002 to 2004 are from $3500 to $5500 for the same type of vehicle you are looking at.
Nice vehicles, but be cautious, these can be expensive to fix when things go wrong.
Here's GEM's website: http://www.gemcar.com/

I am constantly on the lookout for a good GEM at a reasonable price. They are few and far between in my area, but when you do spot one they don't seem to last long. The pricing is a bit high out here too. Usually I see the 2 seaters for $3500-4500, in fair to good shape around here, so $3600 for a 4 seater seems quite reasonable, and that one seems to have the doors, etc., which is a bonus. I'd be on it like stink on poo if it were down here!

There about 10 GEM's and 1 THINK in craigslist in my area today. They are 02' to 05's mostly 4 seaters all with doors, trunks and are priced from $4200 to $7000. Most all have 08 or newer batteries.

I just drove to Sacramento, CA last month and picked up a 2005 Gem 2e. stored for 4 years and 32 miles on it. New Gel batteries in March. Gem cost of $5,000 compared to local Chrysler dealer at $7,200. for new 2008. I have been offered $6,000 for it here in Washington state. Check on Liability Insurance cost as companies appear to only write policies in Florida, Arizona & Cal. I may sell it as Allstate wants $600.+ per year for Liability ins. only. A great little machine. New hard doors are priced at $2,000+.
