Default Grease dispenser

I had to add a little grease to my rear end before CAW & thought I'd share an old boating trick. It's just a weed sprayer with a piece of tubing added to the end,it saves a lot of mess, pump it up ,stick the tube in the hole & press the trigger,I used this to change grease in the lower unit on my boathookm

I didn't know a pump sprayer would pump grease I've got my vacuum oil changer from the boat and will use it next time I change the oil.

I bought one of the pumps for lower-units that screws onto a gear-oil bottle, works nice in tight spots and its cheap.

they use these because you wont get air when you fill it up from the bottom upwards , as for the sprayer, its hard to ensure your not getting air in there and getting a false level of fill , which can destory a outdrive. ill stick to the old fashion hand pump like pachanga mentioned.

Hookm, I really didn't need to hear about you greasing your rear end...

We are talking about gear oil and not true grease correct?
