wheather has been better so attacking paint and body and fiberglass mods, headlight buckets and hood scoop and filling all the holes and cracks in the body, my new neighbor, The ford guy loaned me, the Mopar guy his Super Cobra Jet Torino shaker assembly and oh my gosh it looks great on the golf cart, I will have to return it when I get my piece made. so I have been trying diffrent techniques to make a mold along my years of paint and body first attempt went well but not nice enough for my cart so second attempt should be better now that I got some schooling from the old guys

pulled a mold from the only caroche nose i have that has headlight buckets and got them attached to my cowl, taped them in place from the outside then laid up the glass from the inside. hit them with the heat gun to kick the glass so I could get the outside done. removed the boss for the club car nose emblem and filled in the holes tomorrow i can smooth the outside and ad some bondo for the finishing touch Sugarpup been supervising all day

More progress this weekend, digging thru my pile of bent up or not wanted stainless auto trim came up with a bent in half rear window trim for a 66 dart gt and made it and a piece of side trim for a 64 dart into my grille shell, picked up some cool stainless foot tread from the local airboat shop it looked pretty good but still had to come up with a way to attach window trim to fiberglass

the fiberglass was so thick in places around the grille opening I had to grind around it to thin it out some it was too visible for my liking, i penciled around the two outer pieces and then used the whizzy wheel to make a ditch for the chrome to set down into, then I cut some notches in the sides of the trim to leave some tabs that could be bent over but decided I would just twist them slightly so it could be removed many times without the tabs getting broken off, with those in place I opened up the fiberglass a little more so it would not be seen easily with the grille installed. then to attach the center part I took a clip from a d/s cowl trim and cut it into a v so it would fit the lower pointed tip of the spear and glued it into place with weatherstip adhesive. then put 3 slide in clips with studs on them long enough to also attach the mesh also. around the edges I drilled some holes underneath the outer trims and put some screws washers and nuts to hold the mesh tight around the edges and Viol'a now I'm happy with it
