Not yet.

Instead of a PM, or a reply to my PMs, which I have not received, would a moderator please activate the edit buttons on my posts, and I will do some housekeeping myself.

TIA.

Do you want it edited for yourself or is someone pressuring you to edit this posts? And NO, after 5 mintes or so you can't edit your post.

Editing posts causes them to loose their continuity, then the post becomes useless as a resource, and resources is what a forum is all about. Either it should stay or get deleted all together.

Sorry if I upset the golf (apple) cart . I have made over 50000 posts on forums over the last ten years and have never encountered exactly this before. I was just wanting to make some of my statements a little more diplomatic, although they are accurate as they stand.

As to the auto-brake problem, since the solenoids have been replaced we have not had a brake lock up. I did have to bring one in off the course two days ago, but for an undiagnosed reason.

As to the carts themselves, they take a little getting use to. Golfers new to them keep jamming on the brake pedal trying to make them click. I have added a brief explanation to my Starter talk.

The reverse is also true. I am used to them, but where I play in league they don't have them. I find myself forgetting to set the hill brake, expecting the cart to brake itself after it coasts to a stop.

No, the failing solenoids/brake lock-up is not user error.

Me failing to set the hill brake on the carts where I play in league is.

Habits are habits, both in setting the brake when you don't need to and not setting it when you need to.

Default RXV Auto-Brake Problem

We had a cart barn guy from an out-of-town course play at our place today. They are having the same auto-brake problem and he said they have been getting the run-around. Solenoids have not even been mentioned to them.

Now he knows. That's what sharing's about, helping to solve common problems.
