Difference between MCOR 1 and MCOR 2
I am trying to find out the difference between an MCOR 1 (MCOR) and and MCOR 2 (MCOR II). I have an MCOR off a 2008 CC Precedent Electric 48V, and it says "MCOR II CCI 15302" on the label. The box looks exactly like the other boxes that identify with part # 102528501, but most of these threads reference as "MCOR" or "original MCOR" implying this is an MCOR 1. So my question - is an MCOR II P/N 15302 the same as an MCOR P/N 102528501"?

I think, I said I think, the mcor 1 was on DS carts, and mcor 2 went on precedents.

Re: Difference between MCOR 1 and MCOR 2
. . the MCOR PN 102528501 is for a Generation 1 Pedal Box/Group in the Precedent. I "think" that when replacing that, you upgrade the Pedal Box/Group to a Generation 2 setup (CCI P/N 102595012).
. . . I can not find any reference to the MCOR II P/N 15302 anywhere . . . are you sure that is all the numbers for the PN? |

Re: Difference between MCOR 1 and MCOR 2
MCOR1 = DS
MCOR2 = Precedent Identical unit except for the input shaft. The DS is splined and the Precedent is not. |

Does the excel system have a different mcor2? Or is it that same, just with a 1515 Curtis controller.

What is the purpose of those resistors? I actually removed those from my harness when I upgraded to a new 500amp controller. Because the IQ harness doesn't have those resistors.

Re: Difference between MCOR 1 and MCOR 2
Yes I removed them after I installed the new controller. I figured what's the purpose of having them installed if I'm not going to have a a excell controller.

Re: Difference between MCOR 1 and MCOR 2
The controller worked just fine with them installed, but before I found that controller I was going to do a IQ wire harness swap and found them about 12" back from the mcor. So I called fsip and asked if I removed them would it still work and they said yes it would. So I just removed them. And if I ever go back to the excel controller I will just reinstall them.
