Re: How much actual ground clearance with 6" lift on Club Car
Dirtysouth: How do you feel about 22's on the All Sports 4" lift? Is that still too much? Are 20's better as far as fender clearance is concerned? I suspect I would be fine with 20's but they only lift the axle 1". I guess I'm paranoid but I was hoping for a little more there. Thanks.

You shoould think about how you are going to turn those big tires! Bigger tires require more power.

Re: How much actual ground clearance with 6" lift on Club Car
I appreciate all of your comments and suggestions. I think I will go with the 4" lift from All Sports and 20" tires. I'm not sure about which tires. Right now I lean toward Sahara Classics 20x10-10s. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Re: How much actual ground clearance with 6" lift on Club Car
20's or 22's will work great. What kind of terain will it be in? Saharas are a pretty mild tread, great for dirt roads, hard pack sand and pavement. They are like racing slicks in mud. One revolution and the tread fills with mud. They don't self clean at all.

Re: How much actual ground clearance with 6" lift on Club Car
Almost all of it will be dirt/sand roads and pasture. I live in lowcountry South Carolina and have few hills although there are a few going down into swamps and back up. Those aren't long pulls anyway. I don't see using them in much mud. Is there a better alternative than the Sahara Classic...say All Trails? I don't think I want to go with very radical tread.
