Re: Help! Need added speed
ok so i changed out all of the battery cables, load tested the batteries ( which came out like new) and got maybe 1mph more. the coil resisitors look rusty though. Could that be causing the slow speed?

Re: Help! Need added speed
as long as your getting good connection to the coils ;your fine. The triangle box with wiper is your V-glide in a since it is your speed control. It allows you to reach top end. If the wiper (brush) does not go 90 degrees your not getting top speed. easy to check remove removable cover (driver side) turn key off and press excellorator all the way to the floor, brush should go 90 stright up. But odds are your motor needs to be up graded. I have 36 volt coil resister CC, torque speed motor, no lift 23MPH. No joke have a two speed motor. I'll put lift and 23" tires on this fall get another 2to 3 MPH

Re: Help! Need added speed
635 it was from a place in Ft wayne IN called Electric Products Inc. It only requires really only one other upgrade to keep running cooler are 4 gauge wires. You've already done that. You'll want to make sure to ask for heavy duty insulators. comes with step by step instructions, it is a two switch motor. 1st is Forward (torque) $ reverse 2nd is high speed. 17mph with 1st switch, 23mph with 2nd. let me know if you are intersted I'll get you all the info.
