you can take florida off the list . it may not get cold here 9 months out of the year but we still have rain and plenty of bugs...

Most folding windshields will make you a free half windshield over time when the hinge breaks.

We did play with one other idea...

A sun visor that doesn't interfere with the windshield in the up position.

see pic...

Really like the sun visor. That could be a winner.

I like the windshield and the visor, I am trying to come up with a tinted half windshield idea.

Both designs are cool...I think the biggest thing would be the cost. That would determine whether or not I would be buyer. If that half windshield was more than a standard because its a custom designed windshield I think buyers would be limited. If it were less or comparable you might get a few buyers.

I do see some people not wanting tops of their carts so maybe if you also sold it with a frame those would be your buyers who want a convertible look. However, like some others have said in places like florida where may-august we get torrential downpours every afternoon we would probably be kicking ourselves for only having half a windshield after the first day of getting soaked.

I have lots of family in the palm springs area. Everyone has a cart there and there are some huge places that sell high dollar carts. Another option would be to contact them and see if they might be interested. It never rains there and because its so hot maybe they would want a windshield that looks sleek and provides a breeze.

I for one like the half shield. if it was up to me I wouldn't have the top half of my windshield that folds up. I was outvoted by the wife lol
