short belt broke
short belt broke on cart after less than a year of use.
Is this normal? The stock was a tiny bit longer, but i read up on this mod with using a shorter belt and figured i could get the torque without any issues. I dont want the cart to become stranded again... should i put a new stock length one on? 350 workhorse ezgo |

I would get another short one, it might of been a bad belt it happens, and carry your old belt with you

Did you use a gates belt or one of the cheapies for some where? I use Napa belts that are Gates brand and they have the heavy duty cords in them. I know on my 96 its a Napa 6098 I think. But they measure and get the right one thats a little shorter than stock.

were would i find the belt lenght at for my 90 at ? I WANT TO PUT SHORTER ONES ON IT BECAUSE ITS A DOG UP HILLS ...

Nate, here is a reference chart for replacement belts. I would not go more tahn 1 inch shorter.
