Default broke a belt

arrggh, was going to my parents house, we live about 5 min. away via the woods, cart started making a racket , i stopped and the belt had flipped, so i started to turn around, but it never happened, the outer part stripped off taking the air filter pod with it, and it pitced the belt plum off, so i had a 1/2 mile walk back to the house, leaving the cart in the neighbors drive, i left the broken belt on the seat so they wouldn't think it was in the middle of being stolen or such,

anyways, i walked home, got the truck, drove to town to our parts store/truck shop to retrive the old belt , drove back home and decided to walk back to the cart , cuz if i rode the dirtbike i would still have somthing in the woods,

just as i got the belt on one of my customers calls, "so and so has a bunch of stripped suspension bolts, and we need some helicoils" sooo it was back to town!

the moral of this strory , if any....

don't ever throw anything away!!!

Default Re: broke a belt

I bought a new belt a year and half ago. I strapped the old one on under the car for a spare. Old sand rail trick, don't want to get stranded!
