Default Anyone Get Serious on Turkey Hunting

Howdy
How many serious Turkey hunters do we have here ?
If and when you try a slam and in need of a Osceola let me know
I may be able to hook you up .
Being a amputee now my hunts are harder , slower but more funner
I now have to stop and smell the roses before I pull the trigger

I'm a serious turkey hunter however I've never gotten one. We've just recently started seeing turkeys around my house again after being gone for about eight years. Hopefully next spring I'll get my first.

Bud, I hope you get a double bearded one .
One of them big ole Limb hangers
With out bothering them to much are you able to
Roost any in the evenings ? If they are just starting to show up
what happened to them , Die of or what ?

How many are you seeing and did you see many clutches last spring ?
Im curious about what happened to the population where your at .

Down here I see them all the time thier thick and smart too .
They will make a inexpierienced first timer scratch his head

I'm not sure what happened to them. Back when they were around here, I didn't hunt so I never really saw them out in the woods. We just stopped seeing them out in the fields.
I saw some last fall when I was deer hunting. I counted about eight back then. I went out scouting for them a few times in the spring and never saw them again. During the summer, I saw them out in the field behind my house a couple times and got some pictures. There were some young as well as old ones. On opening day of bow season this year, I saw about twenty in the area where I was hunting. My son also saw about ten more in the area where he was hunting.

I saw 16 of them the other day when I went to repair a deer stand.

LOL!!!! The people that own the house before my parents must have been avid turkey hunters because above all three of the garage doors are the fans from different size turkeys...
