Default Slow studdering operation

Looking for some assistance with my 1994 electric E-Z-GO.
Got it a couple of months ago and after a few cycles of charging and using
the cart it seemed to work well, although probably for only 30-40 minutes.
Just recently after a charge it is studdering to try and go, but will not
operate with any gusto! I am thinking batteries, but wanted to hear from the forum if I should check anything else before I take the big expense.
Appreciate folks input
Cheers
Doc

Sounds like you may have a short and/or loose connection somewhere in the wiring. I would check and/or replace any loose connection.

And check your batteries with a voltage meter to see if they are putting out the correct voltage.

Not sure, an expert will be along shortly to assist you. While you wait check out this video of another guy that had a slow studdering problem...

Stuttering starts are usually a sign of spent batteries. Buy and learn to use a $25 digital multimeter, a sparky owner's best friend.

All the connections I cleaned. I will get the meter out and
take a look at what they show me. Could it be a battery itself that
is shorting out?

Since it runs, there is no short. How old and what brand are these batteries? Water levels correct?

Water level I have been keeping a good eye on.
They have needed filling every few days, but seems to have
been working in the past. They are Trojan T105's. If I replace
was looking at the NAPA 8146 if the cost was greatly lower then the
$120 for the Trojans.
Any thoughts?

If you have the means, my first recommendation is always Trojan T-105's.
