03 CC very slow
I have a 03 CC that has gotten very slow. I have hydro checked the batteries, all batteries have 8+ volts and I have 50+ volts total. The cart will take off fine and with in a min or 2 it has slowed to a creep. I can let it set for a wile and it will repeat the problem so on and so on. I don’t know how to check the mcor or controller to see if 1 or both are bad. The charging of the cart seems fine, it will charge auto and cut off after a full charge but it will do the same thing. I will take any help or things to try. This also happened a day after I washed it. But I did not take the cover off and expose the controler or motorarea.Just washed the cart and sprayed off the battery area.

Re: 03 CC very slow
You may have a bad battery which is dropping out quickly under load....it charges and shows a surface charge of 8v but it doesn't have the amps needed to sustain a draw.... Load test the batteries or check specific gravity with a hydrometer....good luck

Re: 03 CC very slow
I did recheck the batteries and I had 1 battery that only had 7.2 after charging. I replaced it to day but it did not help. I can jack the cart up and press it pedel 100% and stand there and watch it slow down and speed up. I am lost but thanks for the info.

Re: 03 CC very slow
It's possible your speed controller is not getting the proper signal from thw MCOR throttle indicator..... the following 2 pages covers the diagnostics for the MCOR throttle position indicator. You may have to download these pages and view with your fax / photo viewing software to get a clear pic...(thanks goes to the lockman)

Re: 03 CC very slow
is it a reagan cart? if so when it slows like that get off and lift seat to see if that resistor coil is glowing red...if so your reagan braking could be actiong up or regan solenoid staying engaged........................................
