Default Fuse for Alltrax Question

Anyone have a pic of where the fuse is installed that is sent with the alltrax controller?

Ive got the XCT400 in a 2012 precedent iq excel. Installed new controller and solenoid - cart runs great. Apparently its smart to have the fuse in there for warranty of the controller etc.

Thanks everyone!!

Bolt the fuse to the main positive battery terminal. Bolt the wire that would go on that terminal to the opposite end of the fuse.

Alltrax says to put the fuse anywhere - they mean anywhere even in between 2 batteries. So long as it is in the system it will function as designed.

I like it on the controller B- or the Solenoid B+. These locations tend to corrode a lot less than the battery posts

I like the holder type so I can mount it out the way and securely install the fuse between the pack and solenoid. Mine has a clear cover but this one is similar...

If you are going directly to a battery post, then not really. Just make sure it is secured and out of the way of anything that may hit it.

I wouldn’t mount it on a battery terminal vibration will make it weak losing voltage bad idea we have skyjack scissor lifts they mount the fuse between two batteries I bet I have changed 50 of them since they cheap it out not using a fuse holder

100% agree, but they do it every day....

Especially since Alltrax shows it in their installation manual.....
