Talking Finally, my PB-6 install...direct!!!! With pics!!

Ok, it's been about 4 weeks that I kept procrastinating on my PB-6 install since my experience with fabricating a metal hinge mechanism is lacking.
Here's what I did: I mounted the accelerator linkage rod directly to the second hole from the hinge and tek screwed the unit it to an aluminum bracket and the bracket to the frame. Lots of tek screws... it's not going anywhere. The accelerator linkage rod needed more travel so i fabricated an extension bracket where the rod attaches to the pedal assembly. It's reinforced on the opposite side so no flexing of the bracket occurs. Now I know I'll get criticized for moving the linkage rod outside the protection of the frame but it's not a hunting buggy and I'm not going over any tree stumps and it has a 6" lift with 23" tires... so clearance for me is not an issue. I can also easily protect it with some 2" aluminum square tubing which I already have planned out but this buggy is 90% pavement and 10% flat dirt/grass (florida). So it's just another installation option by modifying the other end of the linkage rod that may or may not help out another. It was a very quick install overall 1hr start to finish. (yes, I will secure those brake wires!!)

yeah yeah, I know I'm doing it slooooooooowly but I don't get much time to work on it. 500 amp Alltrax coming in 2 days with HD F/R switch...cables almost done, body is ready to go on, gotta order a D395 still and high speed gears once I figure out if I have a 2 or 3 piece gear assembly (different post). So, thanks to all of your help on this site it's about 2 weeks from rolling out of the garage
