Default Tail light help

Okay I have a 2003 Yamaha G22E and im trying to get my tail lights to work i have them wired right and the bulbs are good in them but they are just not working if anybody could give me some tips i would appreciate it. Thanks.

Do the headlights work? Is the fuse good? Is the switch working correctly? Jump out the switch are wire direct to the battery.

i have seen the fuse holder contacts points be corroded enough that they would make a circuit with a voltmeter but would not work under a load. take a piece of sandpaper and sand the ends of the fuse connector points and fuse

#1. not wired right. #2. not hooked to switch right. #3. not grounded right. #4. bolwn fuse. #5. blown bulbs. thats all that can be wrong, check all these things and they have to work.
