This is the first time I remember ever seing this issue on the site, I would have expected the Controller to shutdown if the "charger plugged" signal was received during a "pedal down" event...
Since I use my OBC for charging and it works fine with the Alltrax controller, I never thought much about the Alltrax lockout behaviour until you asked about it. After reviewing the functionality, I have an idea for folks that have removed the OBC and purchased a "smart charger". if You have a Summit charger, Delta-Q or a DPI with the "sense pin connected to the negative pin" inside the DC plug: Connect the gray sense wire from the charger receptacle to the Blue wire on the harness side of the OBC. That will be the easiest way to get the "lockout" function working again. |
