Ok, I installed the performance power package from the vender here and took it out for a test drive. It definately has more initial pick up, but now GPS out at 25mph. I was at 30 mph before the install. I thought I wouldn't loose any top end by installing this kit. Did I do something wrong?? I triple checked all of my work when installing it. Has anyone else had this problem.

Which power package did you install? Pics always help.

I installed the complete kit from Carts Parts Plus "Yamaha power package".

If you are sure everything went together right, give Tom a call. You shouldn't lose 5 mph.

I spoke with Tom and he indicated occasionally you may lose a couple of mph but that I should gain it back as the springs loosen up. He indicated I could compress the springs in a vice and it should help. After running it a bit, I am now at 28mph.
