2004 precedent missing controller
I just bought an 04 precedent, with no controller. can anyone tell me what the original should've been or suggest an reasonable upgrade. tia, Fox#1

My guess would be a Curtis controller, but any IQ built controller should work. Just make sure it's for the IQ system. Look in the for sale forums guys sell these controllers all day long for $150.00 or so with shipping. Or put an add in the for sale section you should get a response quick.

I bought this cart from a dealer, he used the controller from this cart in one he built. He offered to send one of his cores to be rebuilt for $150, just wanted to be certain I get right 1. cart was behind about 30 other carts so I didn't check the ser.# or if it had an iq port but that's what I believe it is. my best guess it was a Curtis 1510-5201, am I right in assuming a 5251 will work also? thanks, darrell

Yes. The 150 from your guy for a FSIP ( most likely ) is a decent enough deal.

Correct. a 1510 (IQ) controller is what you need.

Just wanted to say thanks everyone for their advice, got the cart home yesterday, put the controller in and runs great, now its on to some upgrades!
