G19 buzzing, stops when gas pressed down
I have had my G19 for a couple years now and this is my first real issue, I want to fix it myself but need some help diagnosing it please. When step on the gas pedal lightly is buzzes and moves very slowly, once I press the pedal about 1/2 way it clicks and turns off. I am hoping it is the solenoid and not batteries, but not sure why it would work in forward and reverse when pedal is depressed lightly and not regularly. Can anyone help?

Took a multimeter to all the batteries and found one dead one, replaced it and works perfect.
