Batteries toast?
When I was away, my wife said the cart died in the field. When I got home (in couple days), I checked the pack. (27.4V) I towed it to the charger and began charging. The charger shut off via timer. Then I started it again. The next time the charger shut off with the timer still clicking. (After a couple hours) I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it started charging again.
When I came out this morning, it tested 36.2V. I turned the charger on again. I left for a few hours and when I came back, the charger was off but the timer was still clicking. I checked the voltage. (36.2) I checked each battery. All were either 6V or 6.1V. I replugged it in and it started charging. With the charger pushing 18 amps, the pack reads 37.4V. Are my batteries shot. (There very old) |
