Big Block Running Slow
I just took my cart out for its first run after putting a B+S 18 hp stock in it. The cart is a slug, my 91 with a 295 robbins will outrun it. Were does a guy start? Thanks for any help.

Re: Big Block Running Slow
Yes, I'm running off the governer in the motor. There is a place on top of the motor that you can attach your cable in either direction, from the front or the back. This is were I hooked up at. I also made sure that with the pedal down to the floor the linkage is fully rotated. It seems like I'm not getting the rpms high enough to make the clutch work. Can you spin a stock motor fast enough to achieve this?

Re: Big Block Running Slow
Yes it does, the only difference is that I came around from the back. Is there any way to get a little more out of her Scotty. I will also check the rpms and see were they are at.
