Default Flood damaged cart

1998 EZGO TXT 36V
Where do I start?
Water was just above battery pack. Can I test controller & solenoid or just replace everything?
Thanks,,,,

Disassemble everything and dry it out! Motor must be disassembled and dried or the brushes will rust in place. If there is water in the diff, it needs to be drained and refilled with diff oil. If batteries were hooked up, it's likely that most or all of the electricals are junk. After motor and diff are fixed, then you can start testing things.

So after pricing everything to just fix the cart, I think I would like to go 48V . What would be the best way to go?? Currently I have a EZGO TXT w/ a BAD 9 pin controller & BAD motor.

Cut to the chase. Get a Navitas AC conversion. You will need a new HD 48 volt solenoid, wire harness 625805, 2gauge battery wires, 48 volt battery charger. 48 volts of your choice, lithium or FLA. And don’t forget to check out the ITS throttle under the floor. You won’t be disappointed!
