EZGO TXT48 48-72v or gear change
Hey y’all, the important stuff.
2017 stretched EZGO TXT48, D&D 170-513-0001B (ES-9B-50), 4 12v AGM Hawkers, Navitas tsx 3.0 600amp controller, heavy duty solenoid, 28” tires and 2gauge wires. Motor is a bast with torque no doubt about it. But I have the cart registered as an LSV and can take it all over our little downtown. Max rpm on 48v set up is 3150, motor can handle 72v. I can fit 2 more hawkers, strategically, and the place down the road refurbishes and sells them for $70, with 3 year guarantee. 2 batteries $140, alltrax 72v controller (maybe Navitas) $954, charger maybe $600. Kv=rpm/V. Kv=3140/48 Kv=65.41 65.41kvX72v= 4710rpm 4710rpm with 12.44 gears = 32mph Regear from 12.44 to 8.1 $600. 12.44:1 and 28” tires= 21mph at 3150rpm 8.1:1 and 28” tires= 33mph I’ve got 900 in the motor, bout 900 in the controller. Could probably get 500 for the controller to offset if I go 72v. 72v $1700 8.1 gears $600. Any smarter guys wanna weigh in? All math is from researching and trying to understand electric motors |
