Re: batteries
Crown would be my choice, even if you include the Trojan & US in the mix. Trojan has become more difficult to work with “after the sale” if needed.

Re: batteries
Crown batteries are great. I’ve had good success with Duracell’s lasting many years too. I’d also look into Powertron if you have them nearby. I’ve also seen Interstate batteries last 8+ years. (I say 8+ because they’re still going!)

Re: batteries
i run these brute forces and i have had great luck with them. (also have 8x 6volts)
http://www.bruteforce.com/index.php/...gba6v2000.html everyone told me to steer clear of the cheaper ones and through my work i got these at 60 a piece.. i understand your looking for 8vs but i believe they have them also. would be worth checking out EDIT They have a location in Birmingham 205-730-9093 |

Re: batteries
I would go with Trojan but like you said its a little out of range. I would look at the weight and amp hour of the remaining three and go with the heaviest one with the best amp hour rating .
the more lead the better . Is now open Click Swan's Pick'em |

Re: batteries
Crown makes an excellent battery. Which Crown battery are they quoting you at this price? The CR-150 or the CR-165?

Re: batteries
For only $80 more than my budget I would buy the Trojans. Buy the best and only cry once.
