new to me DS Series
HI, I just got a 2000.5 DS Series cart, runs fine but I'm looking for some upgrade to help it on hills. I'm confused between motor upgrades and controller upgrades. I don't want to lift it just a little more speed on hills. It's a 48V system. 6 Trojan 8V batteries about 3 years old.

Re: new to me DS Series
The speed controller limits how much amperage the motor can draw. A bigger controller allows the motor to produce more torque. A bigger motor usually needs to draw more amperage which means a bigger controller.
