Default Throttle body question.

Ok, I have a 86 Marathon and the thing that the throttle cable goes into on the throttle body won't return to it's normal position after I let off the gas. Is there supposed to be a spring on it? There was never one with this one (at least not as long as I've had it) and it's always worked right.
Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure, but I think there should be a spring somewhere. Maybe on the gas pedal under the floor

The gas pedals comin back and everythings under there that should be there. I did notice that there are 2 wholes on there, one for the accelerator cable and one for somethin else. I guess it's a spring.

Yeah I think there is suppose to be a spring wrapped around the throttle control on the carb but its been a while since I've looked at one so I could be wrong.

I think you might be right. I'm gonna go mess with it in a little while.
