Tahoedawg is also correct, and I agree with him as the Alltrax is the first upgrade I did and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Thanks guys it’s greatly appreciated.

I live in FL where it’s all flat roads.

What would the benefits be to changing out the motor / controller , cables over the stock set up? If I was going to do and void the warranty, wouldn’t it have made sense to buy a used CP instead?

I love the Onward body, I bought it just for the body style. If they made it aftermarket I’d probably would have built my own

I was in the same boat as you. I bought the inward thinking I wouldn’t have to change a thing, it would be all I needed/wanted right out of the box. Well that lasted about 6 months and I bought the Alltrax. 2 months later built a lithium pack, and a month after that bought a PQ executioner.

Like everyone says, welcome to the addiction. Now I want to get a roller frame and build another one from scratch.

Huge benefits in speed and power. As for your warranty, the parts you're changing out are the parts you need to be concerned with when it comes to warranty. Any reputable seller will warranty their motor/controller package as well, so you'll still have your warranty, it just won't be through Club Car.

I am brand new to the Cart world...i'm at the point of either buying a Club Car Onward Lifted, or an EZGO S4 High Output.

I'm posting on this thread because I was convinced the Onward was the better purchase, until I test drove one yesterday and noticed the dramatic slow down when lifting my foot from the gas pedal.

So this can be fixed/minimized? I should be asking my dealer to turn down the Regen Mode, and also set it to Speed 4?

Thanks and I look forward to getting addicted!

Yes I bought mine over to the dealer to adjust the Regen.

I just have to use the brakes now, before the Regen would stop the cart.

That's great news. I was discouraged when we tested it out because we really like the look and comfort of the Onward over the S4.

I've had one dealer tell me that turning off the Regen would void the warranty. Accurate?

That’s totally BS.
