Installed 6" Madjax Lift, cannot figure out alignment ?

Hi Folks, I posted this in the Club Precedent form, then found this thread, only my 2nd post :)


I've spent 15+ hours and still can't figure this out

I just installed a Madjax 6" A-Arm lift, with 23" tires

I can't figure out how to adjust the Tie rods evenly, so both have same amount of threads on each side

I used a 12mm wrench, and moved the threaded rod off the steering rack and also adjusted the tire rods, without success

Right now the drivers side tire is at 8 threads showing, and looks straight, and the passenger tire in the front is way out , about 2+ inches like I'm turning

I keep adjusting the tie rods and threaded rod the tie rods screw onto to, but I'm afraid I'm lost now how many turns I turned the rods in and out

Should I take the Bellows off, and count the treads on the inner tie rods, get them even then start back out on the outta tie rods ?

The only way I can get the tires straight is not having the same amount of threads on each side

Also the steering wheel has a good amount of play in it. I move it from the 12:00 position to about the 2:30 position, before the tires start to turn

You need to adjust so you have 1/8 to 1/4 inch toe in on the tires, the amount of threads showing is never going to be the same. just adjust the toe and lock it down.
