club car carryall turf 2 problem
Hi. I was wandering if anyone had any idea what could be wrong with a club car carryall turf 2 golf cart that my parents own. When you push the pedal down barely it will slowly go but if you try to accelerate any faster it will click off. I would appreciate any help with this because my father had an aneorism that burst back in October and it's left up to me and my mom to take care of 40 acres and this Cart was really useful before. Any help would be appreciated.

What you are saying sounds like the batteries need charging. Do you have a volt meter to check the battery voltage.?

Serial number would be beneficial as well. Use this attached chart to determine the year. You would fall under the "DS" catagory.
It sounds like one of three (depending on year) things - 1. Low battery voltage 2. Solenoid Dropout (Year Dependant) 3. MCOR failure (Year Dependent) |

Don't have a volt meter. Battery charger has been on and says fully charged. My dad was told to plug in after every use no matter how long he used it. I think it should have been drained a bit more before charging.

Pick up a cheap voltmeter. Or better yet, if you have a HF near you, just use a "FREE" coupon and pick one up. It is a very valuable tool in the world of electric carts

The water level in the batteries might be low also. Should have 1/4 inch above the plates in each cell. |
