Default RXV Danaher Handheld Question

This question is for a Danaher Handheld. I have a guy who says when he goes to the password section it's has six dashes calling for a six number password. I have never seen this only five number password. Has anyone out there run into this before?

Trying to help him but just never seen this one.

PM me if you feel more comfortable doing so.

That I think is for 'special access' and if you enter it wrong a certain number of times your handheld will lock itself down.

We can't get that password as EZGO doesn't want anyone to know. Don't ask me why I'm still trying to figure it out.

You should be able to use the handheld just fine without it, though.

Ok what I have found out is they make a Danaher Handheld for a LSV and I believe that is what he has. He doesn't have the one for the RXV.

IIRC the 2-Five (LSV) and RXV use the same handheld. At least the manual for the handheld is applicable to both?

That is right 2-Five and the RXV is the same handset. They also make a LSV handset.

I have never encountered a problem using the same Danaher handset on Rxv or 2five.there is no speed code for 2five, as it's already set for 25mph.

Please keep in mind that all Danaher handsets I have used came directly from Ezgo, not Fsip. And as a side note, I wouldn't do any software updates from handset to controller unless you really think it will fix something, I have seen software updates "brick" a previously working controller.

The handset I'm talking about did come from EZGO it was NOS not FSIP. I was just showing there is a LSV model.

It's not just the software updates I've seen brick a controller. Not two weeks ago we were just hooking the handset up to an older (2008 ) RXV we had on our sale lot to get it to 19.5 MPH, and it just said 'COMM ERROR' then went 'NO CONNECTION!' and then the car wouldn't run at all.
