New volt meter
Just installed a Datel DMR20-10-DCM-R-C volt meter and it looks like it is going to work well. It is an auto ranging meter and up to 51 volts it displays voltage to two decimal places. On my 36 volt system is draws 4 ma.

Datel makes a good product, that model is okay for 36v

Here is the finished panel. I use a separate 12V battery for auxiliary so the small switch to the left of the volt gauge is a DPDT that allows checking the aux. battery voltage. The next switch is for lights and the last is for future expansion. The 12V plug is wired thru a fuse directly to the battery. |
