Default 12v Batteries

Well I have decided to go ahead and bite the bullet of the AC conversion, in doing this I want to go to a 72-volt setup. Right now I have 6 8-volt batteries in the cart. So who makes the longest Ah 12-volt batteries that will still fit under the seat, I only have the room under the seats so length and width also have to be looked at.

Thanks!!!

Not many Deep-Cycle 12V batteries out there. Here is a list of ones that are commonly used in carts.
Heights and widths are about the same as 6V and 8V cart batteries, but they are longer in length, so the stock battery frame has to be modified.

Thank you for the info. Not sure of how I can modify it to fit with the speakers and such that are planned to go into the cart, with the extra 12v for it. I may have to stick to the 48v :(

Well ordered the 48v 650a AC conversion package, so I'm stuck @ 48v for now. Will give another update when I'm running.

I think you will find the power of that system "more than adequate"...Plus, looks like you got the tuner too. Mind posting the full model number of the handheld, so we know which version it is (i think the best is -4401).

I believe trojan T-1275's at 150AH are the biggest AH for the money. There are 155AH 12v FLA batteries out there (Sam's Duracell) but the price is much more then the trojans. With a bit of effort you can make 6 fit under the seat and between the frame rails of a txt.
