Love the pargo!!! Very cool body style. I think it would make a cool "street rod" cart with a big block in it. Some day I'll find one.

i wanted an old club car but i fell into this one and thought it would work. i would love to make it a gasser but i have a feeling after doing it all like the old ez go it'll prob just get an emp motor like my club car. i guess i just enjoy dumping way to much money in old carts that i never drive. i was thinking some 12's, smooth and paint the body, new seats, and maybe the motor, then i should be done...or broke again.

How did you do your seats on your stretched? Man that is a great looking cart. I hope to build something like that with an old Electric Marathon I have.

i used 1" black pipe and bent it for the backs and just made the front seat base, welded them on the seat base, wrapped it, cut the wood for the backs and sent them to local shop to be done. the arms are off of a semi seat, i just got new ones at work and had the shop recover them. i'll try to post some pics for you in the next few days if you want a closer look.

I so badly want a stretch job like that to use as a family truckster up at my property in the mountains. Preferably a gasser so I don't have to worry about charging it since we have no electricity until we install the solar and wind... How well does the lifted cart run with the 200cc engine in it? I had considered tearing down one of my Kawasaki 300cc 4x4 quads and dump that drivetrain into a cart, including the 4 wheel drive setup, but I was afraid it wouldn't be enough power. I've got a 600cc Kawasaki Ninja on its way to me this weekend, which I was going to use instead, but the 300cc setup would be easier as a more complete working unit for transplant, plus would have reverse and 4x4... |
