Electric Motor & Controller Questions
Hello Folks,
I am considering purchasing a GatorMoto Utility Vehicle or a Cloumbia Par Car Utility Vehicle anyone had experience with either of these? Motor Specs for GM UV are 4KW w/ curtis controller for CPC UV are 48-volt separately excited, 5.92 HP @ 3665 rpm, NEMA class H temperature rating. Anyone got a opinion or advice on which would be best, Also what dose separately excited mean? Thanks |

Re: Electric Motor & Controller Questions
No experiance with either of those. A S.E.P.E.X motor the feild and armature are seperatley excited from each other....whereas a series the feild and armature is wired in series.
