EZ GO Workhorse
I know very little about EZs, is the workhorse different from a stock EZ.

Re: EZ GO Workhorse
Most have the ST-style cowl, a longer frame, heavier duty leaf springs, a 28º driven clutch, different hubs, a drop-axle lift kit up front, and the 350cc 11hp engine.
I think the electric ones are 48V instead of 36V. I'm sure ruredy can tell you all about them. He is the Workhorse master. |

Re: EZ GO Workhorse
Not all models have longer frames, there a bunch of different models of workhorse carts (over a dozen). If you were a little more specific about which workhorse cart then we could provide better info.

Re: EZ GO Workhorse
This was 2001 36v. It had a flip bed and said "workhorse" on the cart. The guy said he bought it from the county maintenance dept., he wants $2k. I was just curious...sounds a little pricey to me!

Re: EZ GO Workhorse
Its either a 800-e or 1000-e, the 800 would be the same size as a regular golf cart only the back body and bed are different, the 1000-e is around 10" longer. To me prices on electric carts very widely because of the batteries and overall condition. I feel it would have to be in very good shape with new batteries to be even close to that price. Thats about what a gas one would sell for and the gas carts are worth more than electric. Last month I was just looking at 6 newer gas workhorse carts with the ST cowls down your way and they were wanting $2000 each for them.

Re: EZ GO Workhorse
Not to get off the subject, but I just bought a ezgo mpt 48 volt. The serial number is hard to read, but what is this cart? 800 or 1000? Also Id like to lift it but Im not having any luck finding a lift kit.
