Quiet Mufflers?
I'm getting close to starting work on a muffler for the clone swap and am wondering what you guys are doing. I want it as quiet as possible, but the stock hyundai muffler looks like it would be so restrictive it could cause back pressure issues to the point of causing motor damage. The header tube from the 270cc engine is quite a bit smaller than the stock 414cc LCT muffler's header tube, and the outlet of the muffler is maybe 1/2" ID.
I thought about finding the smallest automotive muffler I can, but I don't know if that would really quiet it down enough without having much tail pipe length. |
