Exhaust fumes in cab??
I've searched the different sections looking for info on the killer exhaust fumes, found a few threads on the 2 strokes but none on 4 strokes. This forum is the best for info!!
I have a 2008 drive with a 6" lift and the exhaust fumes are pretty strong. I checked the exhaust for leaks and didn't find any. Those of you with drive carts, do you have strong exhaust fumes while riding? What can be done to remedy? |

Mine is a 09 and the fumes are real strong with the glass up so I don't ride my toddler but just a short while but it's not a problem with the glass down

mines running good, i put a filter and jet kit in it and checked the spark plug, which is perfect, so i know its not running rich or lean. i'll keep searching for a solution.

Re: Exhaust fumes in cab??
What I did was went to the hardware store, bought a 45 degree elbow of 1/2 copper pipe and a 1' section of copper water pipe. It fits right over the exhaust pipe output (with a clamp) and I just extended it out the side like a leg pipe and it seems to keep the fumes out of the cab a little better.

Re: Exhaust fumes in cab??
Also the movement of the clutches causing a fan effect probably doesn't help matters with it blowing the fumes even more.
