Re: BIGBLOCK mufflers
Hey Mike, welcome back. Check this thread if you haven't already, lot's of ideas discussed...I think the general consensus is that a generator muffler is the quietest, and it helps to have some tail pipe...........

Re: BIGBLOCK mufflers
I don't know if anyone has tried it but I think if you got a stock sport bike muffler off of cbr, gsxr etc. Would work great there very quite from the factory and they prob have plenty of flow considering they have anywhere from 100-170hp you can get a near new stock take off for around 50 and the newer models 05 and up are very small.....just an idea.

Re: BIGBLOCK mufflers
Am having a quiet system built using the header that comes with Toms BB 23 vanny and a muffler off a Kawasaki ZX6, will be done next Friday and will post the decibel levels of the stock Briggs muffler that Tom sent and the new set-up

Re: BIGBLOCK mufflers
Quite honestly cribb, I think you're going to be right on I had thought about that for awhile as well as a small car muffler, but these guys knoe their s h i t and assure me it will hit the decibel levels I'm going for...in the 70's under heavy load conditions. I'll definately post video if I can figure out how...lol
