700/400 controller
I bought an 03 club car DS. The previous owner purchased a solid state conversion kit DS 700/400. He says it's tuned to 500 amp. It's a 48v system but the motor is 36v..... I'm wondering if I can find the owners manual for this controller online? Am I going to need a new 48v motor? Can I tune thus to the full 700 amp? I'm new to all this. Thank you.

Re: 700/400 controller
The controller you are asking about was made by FSIP or Logisystems depending upon its age. Both controls had potentiometers to adjust the out put.
Lucky for you I still have some of my old documents from this kit. We stopped selling these controls about 4-5 years ago. Use a light touch on the pot screws |

Re: 700/400 controller
keep the 36-volt motor, it sounds wrong but its really a cheap motor upgrade for a 48 volt system
